齐禾生科主要致力于开发自主可控的新型精准基因编辑技术及创制卓越生物性 状和产品，公司构建了SEEDIT™生物技术及性状工程平台，开发了一系列具有全球 自主知识产权的基因编辑核心技术体系，能够实现基因的精准敲除、碱基替换、基 因表达精细调控以及大片段DNA精准插入等复杂的多重基因/基因组操作，针对世界 重要粮食作物以及经济特色植物均建立了40余种自主高效递送体系，并搭建了高质 量、高通量生物性状验证及田间测试网络。
目前公司性状产品已取得5张基因编辑安全证书， 1项美国USDA豁免，公司科 研成果取得“Best of Cell 2023”、Nature 2024年值得关注的七大技术之一 、2023 年度“中国科学十大进展”、 2024年中关村论坛重大科技成果之“面向世界科技前 沿”的五大科技成果之一等。

Qi Biodesign was established in 2021 with the goal of developing novel precision genome editing technologies and elite traits. SEEDIT ™ (Seed + Edit) platform is the R&D engine to deliver crop innovations through modern biotechnology. Qi Biodesign focuses on the advancement of new and  precise genome editing technologies. Qi Biodesign has developed a suite of editing technologies enabling gene knock- out, single base substitutions, small and precise DNA changes, and precise large DNA insertions. These technologies selected as  "Best of Cell 2023",  "Seven Technologies to Watch in 2024", and "Top Ten Science Advancements in China" by the NSF of China. Qi Biodesign has developed proprietary transformation and editing systems for over 40 plant species. Importantly, the plant transformation and editing can be performed directly in elite varieties. Qi Biodesign has secured five biosafety certificates for gene-edited crops granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
