上汽通用五菱汽车股份有限公司2002年成立，由上汽、通用汽车与广西汽车集 团三方组建。前身可追溯至1958年的柳州动力机械厂。

公司在国内有四大制造基地，销售网点覆盖广。业务涵盖整车研发生产、发 动机及零部件加工、销售与售后。旗下“五菱”“宝骏”两大品牌，产品丰富。秉 持“人民需要什么，五菱就造什么”理念，总销量超2900万辆。

近年新能源发展迅猛，2025年1月新能源车销量同比大增  58.9%  ，产品出口超 100个国家和地区 。

Shanghai General Motors Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. was established in 2002 and was jointly established by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, General Motors (China) Investment Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Its predecessor can be traced back to Liuzhou Power Machinery Factory established in 1958.The company has four  major  manufacturing  bases  in  China,  and  its  sales  outlets  have  wide coverage. Its business encompasses the research, development, and production of complete vehicles, the processing of engines and parts, as well as sales and after- sales services. It owns two major brands, "Wuling" and "Baojun", with a rich variety of products.Adhering to the concept of "What the people need, Wuling will make", the company's total sales volume has exceeded 29 million vehicles.  Its products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions.
