联合国工业发展组织绿色产业平台（ UNIDO Green Industry Platform, GIP）由 联合国工业发展组织（UNIDO）于2012年6月，在“里约+20”联合国可持续发展大 会上倡议成立。平台旨在通过搭建伙伴关系，推动各国绿色产业行动。联合国工业 发展组织绿色产业平台中国办公室（以下简称“平台办公室”）是在该平台框架下 设立的全球唯一的区域执行机构。平台办公室第一届指导委员会由联合国工业发展 组织、中国商务部、中国环境保护部、中国工业和信息化部及北京师范大学等相关 单位组成，同平台办公室一起推动绿色产业发展。

The Green Industry Platform (GIP) was initiated by the United Nations Industrial Development  Organization  (UNIDO).  It  aims  to  promote  green  industries  of  all countries  by  building  partnerships. The  Secretariat of the  platform  is  located at the headquarters of the UNIDO in Vienna, Austria, and the Environment Division of the UNIDO is specifically responsible for the construction and management of the platform. The UNIDO GIP.CCO (hereinafter referred to as UNIDO GIP.CCO) is the world`s only regional executing agency established within the framework of the platform.
