In response to implement the spirit of the Reply of the State Council on Issues Related to the Construction of the Zhongguancun Science and Technology  Park, Beijing Municipal Government set up Beijing Science Park Development (Group) Co., Ltd (BSD) in 1999. As the main force of Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. to undertake the construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center, BSD has successfully developed and constructed nearly 20 science and technology parks in "One District and Three Parks" of Zhongguancun and key development areas across the country, with a construction scale of more than 10 million square meters, and has gradually formed a "1 N" business system with the development and operation of science and technology parks as its main business, and diversified businesses such as real estate investment, technology investment, urban renewal, property management, energy operation, and existing housing stock developing in synergy.
