江门双碳实验室成立于2021年12月，是江门市人民政府与香港科技大学（广 州）共建的大湾区粤港合作科创平台。实验室率先探索“双碳实验室+双碳产业园” 的政产学研融通发展新模式，聚焦硅能源电力系统、新型储能技术、碳计量与生物 利用、碳捕集与工业利用、双碳政策与系统设计五大领域，已逐步成为江门市人才 基地、研发基地、成果转化基地以及科普教育基地。实验室获批“粤港碳中和科学 与技术联合实验室”，成为粤港澳大湾区首家“双碳”领域联合实验室；获批国家 级博士后科研工作站、广东省博士工作站、广东省博士后创新实践基地，以及广东 省科普教育基地。 

Jiangmen Laboratory of Carbon Science and Technology, established in December  2021, is a collaborative innovation platform jointly built by the Jiangmen Municipal People's Government and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology  (Guangzhou) within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The  laboratory has been approved as the "Guangdong-Hong Kong Joint Laboratory for  Carbon Neutrality Science and Technology," becoming the first "dual carbon" joint  laboratory in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has also been  approved as the National Postdoctoral Research Station, Guangdong Provincial  Doctoral Workstation, Guangdong Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base,  and Guangdong Provincial Science Popularization Education Base.
