约瑟夫•阿克曼博士

约瑟夫•阿克曼博士(生于1948年,瑞士公民)目前担任德意志银行董事会主席,以及集团执行委员会主席。2012年3月阿克曼博士被选为苏黎世保险集团董事会主席,将从2012年6月1日起担任这一职务,届时将不再担任德意志银行主席。

阿克曼博士于1996年加入德意志银行董事会,负责投资银行业务。2002年,他成为董事会发言人集团执行委员会主席。在加入德意志银行前,他担任Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (现在的瑞士信贷银行) 总裁。阿克曼博士曾在圣加仑大学攻读经济学和社会学,并于1977年获得博士学位。

阿克曼博士还是西门子公司监事会成员(第二副主席)、荷兰皇家壳牌公司董事会非执行董事。此外,他还在以下机构担任职务:国际金融协会主席、世界经济论坛(理事会联席主席)、圣加仑国际研究基金会主席、歌德学院工商业咨询委员会主席、康斯坦茨湖诺贝尔奖得主会议林岛基金会(名誉董事会成员),以及纽约大都会歌剧院顾问董事。2007年,阿克曼博士被伦敦经济学院聘请为金融学客座教授;2008年7月,被德国法兰克福大学聘任为荣誉教授。此外,阿克曼博士还获得伦敦商学院荣誉院士,以及希腊塞萨斯德谟克里特大学荣誉博士学位。

Josef Ackermann Josef Ackermann (born 1948, Swiss Citizen) is Chairman of the Management Board and the Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank. In March 2012 he was elected Chairman of the Boad of Directors of Zurich Insurance Group, resuming this role from June 1, 2012 when he will step down as Deutsche Bank’s Chairman. In 1996, Ackermann joined the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for the investment banking division. He became Spokesman of the Management Board and Chairman of the Group Executive committee in 2002. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was President of Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (today’s Credit Suisse). He studied economics and social science at the University of St. Gallen and received his PhD in 1977. Mr. Ackermann is second deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens and non-executive Member of the Board of Directors of Royal Dutch Shell. He is Chairman of the Institute of International Finance, co-Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Chairman of the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies, Chairman of the Goethe-Institute’s Business and Industry Advisory Board, Honorary Senate member of the Foundation Lindau Nobelprizewinners Meetings at Lake Constance and Advisory Director of the Metropolitan Opera New York among many further mandates. In 2007, Mr. Ackermann accepted an appointment as visiting professor in finance at the London School of Economics. In July 2008, he was appointed Honorary Professor at Frankfurt’s Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.

Furthermore, he is an Honorary Fellow of the London Business School and holds an Honorary Doctorate from the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece.
